:p My daughter is almost 5mths old at from birth she had problems with formula, I bf for only a week. By 6 weeks old she was put on Neocate and told by dietician she was milk intolerant. At 4 mths we tried her on Aptimal formula and she seemed fine but the last week or so she has been very fidigty on her feeds, doesn't seem in pain at all but can't keep still when feeding and is quite sicky after feeds. My dietician 2 weeks ago told me it was probably just diet related colic and by that point there would of been symptoms of pain, wind etc... (she has been back on Aptimal about 10 days when we saw the dietician)
She is being weaned very slowly, just sme veg or fruit puree at tea time but 2 days ago I gave her a baby danone fromage frais, they say from 4mth so I tried her with it. She took it fine but the next morning she has a very green loose poo.
I am very confused now, would you say that she deffinatly is still milk intolerant and I should switch her back to Neocate asap? My dietician said milk intolerance but last time we saw her she said it must of just been colic.
Not sure what to do, will ring dietician 2moro but she isn't there until Wednesday so she won't get my message before.

It sounds like she still has a problem with milk to me. I would keep dairy out of her diet for now.

If she has lactose intolerance she might be ok with dairy later. I was born with lactose intolerance which went away and then returned at various times in my childhood. I am 52 and I am now very lactose intolerant.

If she is allergic then that is not going to go away.

Thanks for your reply.

I tried her with some fromage frais today and she did yet another very loose poo but it was yellow. After the yoghurt she was also quite sick and so windy that she couldn't take her next bottle which was about 4 hours afte the yoghurt??
