Anyone used Pepti Junior formula?

Dietician prescribed pepti junior for my daugher (5mths) today for milk protein intolerance. She was on Neocate but with her being so sick on it last time they want to try something else.She said she doesn't think my daughter will outgrow it for another year or so and im to take her to be checked over at dietician once a month until she settles down.

Cate is currently on Pepti, which is the fore runner to Pepti Junior...it says that it's suitable from birth. She's getting on with it really well. The dietician suggested flavouring it with crusha (but she is over a year)...but she will actually drink it straight...smells a bit like Horlicks!

Chemist got in Pepti junior but dr put pepti powder on prescription so chemist had to order in that, grrr. Is it the same thing?

yes, our prescriptions say Pepti powder. I'll be interested to hear how you get on. When I tried to get Lloyds to get the milk they said that it had been discontinued and couldn't get it. We had a mad dash to the hospital who gave me three tins of the stuff....but Boots got it without any problem!

I got the Pepti today, must just be because they have discontinued the junior one because when they ordered it and couldn't get more than 2 tins.

She is drinking it but wriggling so it must taste abit odd to her, hope she settles on it.

it took Cate a couple of feeds to get used to it...but now she's fine
