Just want to recommend these guys (If that's allowed?)

http://www.goodnessdirect.co.uk/cgi-local/frameset/script/home.html

We don't have a decent, local Healthfood shop, so buy most of our stuff from Goodness Direct.

Prices are reasonable, delivery is quick and they have not mucked up an order yet.

Can't recommend them enough.

I have used them in the past but as I work I am never in for deliveries :( I might use them again in the summer.

YES!!! They're great, aren't they!!! We order from them every other week and there has never been a major glitch.

Highly recommend them*****

How do the deliveries work with this? Especially for chilled/frozen stuff - do they send a refrig. truck around? Is it on a "you get it when you get it" basis or is it like supermarket deliveries where you get a delivery 'slot'?

Chilled Frozen deliveries come in polystyrene insulated boxes with between 4 and 8 cold-packs in them. As long as you are free to accept delivery, there is no problem. having it left on your doorstep all day might be questionable.......

Well, deliveries over £ 30 are FREE. If you order FROZEN/CHILLED goods, it's £3 per frozen or chilled stuff per order.

It takes 2 days to get to you via courier. So, for example, if you put in an order on Monday, it will be with you on Wednesday. The delivery time depends on the courier's round -our courier always does this village first thing and the Goodness Direct delivery is here by 8:30 every time!!!

They pack frozen goods in styrofoam boxes with pack ice blocks. Chilled stuff will arrive at your house chilled. Amazing!

I have had at least 20 orders from them to date and never has there been a problem with any frozen or chilled stuff! However, if there was, you will get a refund and a replacement no problem.
They also have the best variety of all the online supermarkets I know. www.dietaryneedsdirect.com (http://www.dietaryneedsdirect.com) is another good one (but no frozen/chilled goods).

Hmm, I'll give them a miss then - won't be around when they deliver. Thanks for the info.
