Constipation on Pepti formula.

Jemima seems abit bunged up, she is doing a poo daily but its very formed and sometimes very small amount, pea sized and green.

I am use to very loose nappies, nice, lol!

Is this normal on Pepti?

Haylie was always very constipated. You need to give a lot more fruit and water. A lot of mums don't realise how important water is to babies as well as formula. Sometimes they just want a drink because they are thirsty and not always because they are hungry for milk.

I hope this helps I know its hard if they don't like drinking. I have a terrible time trying to get Haylie to drink between meals but if I dont she still gets constipated.

Thank you. Jem has never been constipated really, she was once a few weeks back after dairy but usually she is fine. Very strange how she suddenly has it.

Also apparently sometimes we think its diahorrea because of the amount of fluid when in fact it is constipation, and the body produces all sorts to try and rid the body of the offending matter.

Confusing isn't it? lol
