“At last” I thought, a contestant who suffers from lactose intolerance. This will be an interesting episode. However, this poor lady was teamed with Brian Turner who turned out to be insufferable in his attitude. He made adverse comments throughout and when good old Ainsley said that many people rely on soya products because of their illness Brian replied
“Yes, to put on their cars.”
Then he made a great show of how he makes rice pudding with cream, cream and more cream.
“.....like a risotto, but the more cream the better.”

Well, all I can say is that it is no wonder that he split his trousers (THIS IS TRUE !!) at the beginning of the show and had to make sure that he didn’t turn his back to the camera for the entire programme !

I would be interested to know, though, how come the lactose intolerant lawyer said that butter was ok to use for her, I guess she is less affected by the intolerance than I am !!

Did anyone else see this ?

Hi Jacqui

No I didn't see the programme, wish I had though, I would have loved to have seen roly poly Turner split his trousers. His arteries must be so furry with all that dairy....it may be nice...but us lot are far more healthy.

Will try some of your recipe suggestions...mmmmmmmmmm

Hi all,

Would have loved to have seen that show, and laughed at that arsehole (excuse the expression).

I have been thinking of writing to the programme and asking them to cover allergies, bet that would be hard.

Maybe I should be a contestant on the show as I have Dairy, caffeine and citrus allergies, see how well Mr Turner copes then.

LOL.

Kind Regards,

Lan.

Hi all,

Just sent a complaint to Points Of View regarding that ignorant man on Ready Steady Cook. I have also issued them with a challenge to have me on the show, as I will give him a run for his money.

It is time we by passed this ignorance and made a stand. It is about time more people realised we are not a joke, we are a majority.

Kind Regards,

Lan B)
